Product Overview

The Shure KSM42/SG is a professional grade dual diaphragm microphone which features a cardioid pickup pattern and Prethos preamp technology to produce low noise, high fidelity and superior dynamic response. The KSM42 condenser also incorporates an internal magnetic pop filter to provide a natural spacing between the sound source and microphone and is perfect for recording vocals. The Shure KSM42 includes an open cage ShureLock shock mount.

Suspension Shock Mount

The KSM42 includes an open cage ShureLock rubber suspension shock mount and a low-profile Popper Stopper magnetic pop filter. This allows you to setup the microphone and shock mount always with the same distance.
