The MB/Dk5 Drum pack is comprised of five microphones specifically designed to be applied when recording drums. Four MB 5k snare/tom microphones and one MB 6k kick microphones feature a distinctive low-profile design in order to allow for a number of placement options around the kit. Included in the package are also four AT8665 drum-rim microphone mounts and a durable carrying case.

The MB/Dk5 Drum pack features four MB 5k snare/tom microphones aswell as one MB 6k kick microphone. Designed primarily for the recording of snares and toms, the MB 5k microphone employs the use of a moving coil dynamic design with a cardioid polar pattern making it exceptionally accurate at picking up the desired audio signals from the projected source. This also allows for a superior off-axis rejection for maximum gain before feedback. Fully capable of taking care of fast transients and high SPL's, the MB/DK5 enacts a frequency response of 100-12,000 Hz.

The cardioid dynamic MB 6k Kick microphone's frequency response is around the range of 60-12,000 Hz, making it the quintessential bass drum and floor tom mic.
